We, together with the director and the team, created sketches and a moodboard

Blockout
At this stage, I developed a draft version, sent it to the illustrators to design the background for the desired angles


Toon shader for cars
Next, I created a special shader that would simulate a 2d style on 3d objects


Layout + Post production
Then I added shaders and the vfx specialist composited the cars into the backgrounds created by the illustrators
